Nigel McFarland is an East Belfast-based garage with over 21 years of experience in the auto services field. When we first connected, Neil - the owner of the garage, wanted to establish an online presence but had no idea where to start with the branding and tech side of things.

Project Goals
Neil wanted to launch their brand in a way that connected drivers who valued a personal and honest service.
He needed a website that:
Set them apart from the typical garage and cold feel of your usual mechanics
Showcased their 21 experience in the industry and emphasised their special carbon cleaning and depolution system services
Was easy to update and use so that the tech side of their business did not have to feel overwhelming.
Mobile and SEO
Neil wanted a one-page website so I designed a simple but yet effective and fully bespoke website that looks good on both mobile and desktop applications.
As they are a local service business based in East Belfast, I also focused on building the website with local SEO best practices in mind so they could easily be found when clients were searching for a mechanic in East Belfast.

Branding
For their website, I focused on capturing the personal yet professional service they offer by designing a colour palette that communicates their reliability and expertise. I created a clear user journey guiding the user towards the end goal of getting in touch.
